All shipments are sent via ground service or common carrier. The products size and weight and the shipments destination determines shipping charges and method of delivery. After checkout, you will receive an order confirmation that will not include shipping charges. All products going common carrier will be "Freight Collect". All products going via ground service will be ship "Prepaid". Once we receive the amount for shipping, that amount will be charged on your credit card. We do not add handing costs.
While shipping charges do vary, all shipments are FOB from the shipping point. Arizona Faux Beams, therefore, is not responsible for items once they are delivered to the appropriate carrier. The carrier assumes responsibility during the shipment. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to make delivery arrangements with the carrier.
Since most of our merchandise is custom-made, most orders generally take 3-6 weeks for delivery. However, in stock items
can be shipped immediately. A customer representative will contact you via phone or email to let you know when your purchase is shipped.
Damaged Items
Damage is a rare but it does happen. If there is damage to your shipment, use the guidelines below. Failure to do so may result in a loss of money and/or merchandise that may be coming to you.
At Time Of Delivery:
If your shipment is damaged, you may reject the whole shipment or only the part that is damaged. Then contact us at 888-314-2326 and we will reissue replacements immediately.
If you find damage to your shipment, but choose to accept it anyway, you must have the driver note on the delivery receipt that the shipment is damaged and the driver must also sign the receipt.
Then you the customer must file a claim with the shipping company for the damaged part of the order. Damages to the shipment are the responsibility of the shipping company. Arizona Faux Beams cannot file a claim for the damaged shipment, only you the customer can. Please keep all damaged merchandise and packing material for the trucking company's inspector. Note: if you sign for the damaged order and are filing a claim with the trucking company. You will need to re-order the damaged part of the shipment and pay for it at the time of re-ordering. The shipping company can only issue a reimbursement check to you.
Unseen Damage after the Truck Leaves:
You have signed for your order (in good condition) and the trucking company has already left You now notice the order is damaged. You must call the trucking company immediately to request the proper claim forms in order to receive reimbursement for the shipment and shipping costs. Please keep all damaged merchandise and packing materials for the trucking company’s inspector. Damage to your shipment is the responsibility of the trucking company. Arizona Faux Beams cannot file a claim for you if you signed for the shipment. To reorder call us at 1-888-314-2326.
